Code of Conduct for Students

  1. Good discipline shall be scrupulously observed by the students. Disobedience, misconduct, misconduct, misbehavior or failure to comply with any of the rules will be severely dealt with

  2. Students shall abide by the rules and regulations of the College and shall do nothing inside or the outside the college that will interfere with its orderly administrations. Parents/Guardians are presumed to have agreed to the rules when their wards are admitted in the College.

  3. Students must not absent themselves from lectures and examination without the prior permission of the Principal. Students are warned that if their attendance at lectures is unsatisfactory their names will be struck off from the rolls. Students are not permitted to attend classes other than their own.

  4. Conduct of students in classes as well as in the premises of the College should not give any cause for disturbance to others.

  5. Smoking, eating Gutka and spitting in the College premises is strictly prohibited. Defaulters may be fined Rs.500/-

  6. Students must not loiter in the College premises while the classes are going on.

  7. Students are expected to take proper care of the College property and should help in keeping the premises Clean and tidy. Any damage done to the College property is a breach of discipline. The guilty will be duly punished.

  8. In case of illness a student must apply for leave to the Principal, as soon as possible, with a doctor’s certificate.

  9. No student shall collect any money or contribution for whatsoever purpose with the prior written permission of the Principal.

  10. No students will be allowed to take part in politics.

  11. Students shall not communicate any information about College administration to the Press. The Principal shall be happy to redress grievances.

  12. Students must pay their fees and deposits. Wherever applicable on or before the last date. Fine will be levied for late payment.

  13. No association shall be formed in the College and no person be invited to address any meeting without the prior permission of the principal.

  14. No student shall take private tuitions from any teacher of the college without the writing permission of the Principal.

  15. The performance of the students in all examinations/tests/assignments in the College will be taken into account before allowing them to appear for the final examinations.

  16. The college will not be responsible for any kind of loss of belongings. Articles found in the library counter are to be claimed on the next day.

  17. For admission, due weightage will be given to the deserving sportsmen who have own prizes at the state/national level.

  18. As local migration (change in local institution) is discouraged. No ObjectionCertificate will be issued only if the authorities are convinced about the genuineness.

  19. Government / College Freeship / Scholarship or any remission in fees is granted on the basis of the regular attendance for classes, tutorials and performance in tests and Examinations. Performance at the various Tests /Examinations and attendance records will be taken into considerations before issuing any Certificate.

  20. Students shall be properly and neatly dressed within the College premises.

  21. Students are expected to read the Notice Board regularly for new circulars and notifications issued by the Authorities. Plea of ignorance will not be entertained.

  22. Students are expected to keep their guardians regularly informed about their progress in studies and other College matters

  23. Students should collect the examination Admission Card at least four days prior to the commencement of the Examination under any circumstances. Mistake, if any, in the admission card should be brought to the notice of the office in writing.

  24. As per UGC regulation on curbing the menace of ragging in Higher Education Institutions, ragging is a criminal offence. The college prohibits any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear or apprehension thereof in any fresher or any other student or asking any student to do any act which such student will not in the ordinary course do and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or torment or embarrassment. Ragging is totally prohibited in the institution, and anyone found guilty or ragging and /or abetting, whether actively or passively or being a part of the conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with the regulations and under the provisions of any penal law for the time being in force.

Matters not covered by the above rules will be within the absolute discretion of the Principal
